We are currently looking for a Communications Manager to work with a Local Authority to help manage the overall delivery and evolution of the authorities communication strategy.

- Manage communication outputs, such as social media channels, to ensure there is a consistent approach to engage, promote and inform the local community
- Ensure high standards are achieved internally with regards to communications for campaigns and offer support to those in other departments
- Maintain relationships with external communication stakeholders
- Consider new advertising opportunities
- Work within a budget and timeframe to successfully deliver projects
- Have experience of managing a team
- Have an understanding and experience of managing the lifecycle of a project
- Ability to work as part of a wider team across departments
- Experience of working within a local authority
