Anderselite are proud to offer opportunities on behalf of our clients that are working on HS2. Our client for this role is looking for a Consents Interface Manager. You will be part of a team delivering multiple packages on a large (£500mil+) Rail Infrastructure project in London.
Consents Interface Managers ensures that all necessary environmental, legal and planning consents, undertakings & assurances and commitments required for a certain aspect of the Euston Project e.g. planning environmental, highways, utilities etc are obtained and complied with in order to achieve the Project objectives. They also manage interfaces with key stakeholders, Consent Granting Bodies and Works package contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead on and advise on Consents, liaison with Consent Granting Bodies (CGB), engagement with stakeholders, preparation of applications, procedures, assurance and compliance with conditions.
* Implement the Consents Management Plan in compliance with the HS2 Works Information
* Work with CGBs and other relevant parties to identify and fine tune procedures for pre-application discussions and applications for Consents and oversees their effectiveness.
* Identify all Consents required related to the specific area of responsibility, identify approving parties and establish productive relationships
* Work with other members of the project team to achieve Consents related to their area of responsibility
* Work with HS2 to engage with relevant project stakeholders and obtain Consents as necessary. Ensure that the Project is able to comply with such consents within it's time cost and functional constraints.
* Ensure that relevant stakeholders are regularly consulted regarding the developing design. Log all stakeholders' objections opinions and evidence that these have been accommodated as far as reasonably practicable in the design.
* Ensure that the priorities and concerns of relevant stakeholders and CGBs are represented within the team as appropriate.
* Manage the application and obtaining of construction related Consents (environmental, traffic, utilities etc)
* Maintain a comprehensive and up to date register of Consents, commitments, undertakings and assurances relating to area of responsibility is maintained at all times and oversee that these are complied with.
* Assist the Planning Managers to incorporate the key Consents milestones into the programme.
* Advise and assist the Risk Manager in identifying and analysing risks relating to the obtaining of consents relating to area of responsibility act as a risk owner of such risks where requested.
* Ensure that all Consents are secured in a timely manner and elevate where issues are encountered
* Report performance in the obtaining of necessary Consents identify problem areas and recommend mitigating actions where required.

Qualifications:
* Good experience of Consents Management in specialist area (essential)
* Past experience of major construction projects (essential)
* Good first degree in relevant subject (essential)
* Project management qualification (desired)
* Past experience of rail projects (desired)
