Construction Manager

6+ Month Contract initially ongoing

£350/day - £400/day

Based in Bretton, Peterborough

Our client is a well established Rail/Construction company whose professionalism and well respected name have been instrumental in their success.

You will need:

Essential:

• Strong Construction Manager with a proven history of working on major projects in excess of 50mill within a rail civils environment is preferred.
• You must come from a contractor or sub contractor background with strong civils background and able to deliver work on time and effectively manage a team of people.
• You will need to have a valid First Aid qualification (can be arranged) and SMSTS certificate, PTS AC/DCCR.

The Role:

• You will be working as a Construction Manager as part of a highly successful project delivery team.
• Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all construction works on site.
• Leading the site management teams, you will directly train and develop junior/graduate staff on site, ensuring the highest levels of compliance across a number of disciplines.
• The works include all ranges of heavy civils and groundworks, including complete building and platform demolition, track widening, step free access, new footbridges and all associated works.
• You will be working from a site office and will regularly be required to work on a variety of sites across a number of different shift patterns.
