CONTRACTORS ENGINEERING MANAGER CEM - PERMANENT - NORTH WEST

Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM) is currently required to join a leading rail contractor based in the North West, to deliver a number of Network Rail Design & Build projects across the CP7 Framework. Works will range between structure renewals, station upgrades and asset enhancements and renewals.

The role will involve:

• Overseeing all Design requirements associated with projects undertaken on the Network Rail infrastructure
• Reviewing designs and management of the design process
• Leading on all engineering requirements throughout the life-cycle of the project
• Providing robust and analytical project reviews to key stakeholders within the organisation
• Coaching junior engineers and memers of the design management function

Candidate requirements:

• Expensive experience of undertaking a similar role in the UK
• Educated to degree level in the field of civil engineering
• Able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge base around Network Rail design management standards, project stages and health & safety
• Undertaken the role of CEM previously
