Corporate Social Responsibility Manager in Derby, Derby, United Kingdom

Ganymede, a leading supplier of complex labour logistics within safety-critical environments across the infrastructure sector, is recruiting for a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager based in Derby. With Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability at the forefront of our agenda, we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us in a newly created role that will focus on these key areas alongside operational Health and Safety.

You will play a leading role in shaping and implementing our CSR strategy. By managing our local champion network you will deliver real impact against our CSR objectives. We are looking for someone with a good understanding of CSR and sustainability issues within a corporate environment.


You will need to:
• Motivate, inspire and advise colleagues with a focus on our CSR objectives and commitments,
• Develop and implement STEM activities,
• Taking a lead on our chosen charity partnership,
• Oversee and co-ordinate our Apprenticeship programme and other recruitment programmes,
• Develop and continually monitor criteria to ensure the company’s CSR activities are aligned to our business plan,
• Create and manage sponsorship opportunities and relationships aligned to our CSR strategy,
• Regularly evaluate CSR and community activities, make recommendations and improvements for future projects,
• Work towards our EDI objectives and identify ways of Ganymede being a more inclusive employer,
• Identify opportunities to raise the profile of Ganymede with regards to CSR,
• Work closely with the Head of HSEQ to implement and roll out our sustainability objectives,
• Attend networking events in various locations to develop relationships. This may involve early morning and evening events,
• Be passionate about corporate social responsibility and sustainability,
• Be proactive and confident working across all levels of an organisation,
• Be a good communicator who builds strong relationships and engages a wide range of audiences,
• Be a strong project manager who can deliver against multiple deadlines and projects,
• Be a big picture thinker who can inform and develop creative ways to improve CSR and sustainability for both Ganymede and at group level,
• Liaise and offer support to our clients on their social impact and environmental promotion within the communities.


Skills Required:
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience,
• Experience in corporate social responsibility or employee engagement, ideally for a national business,
• Experience/knowledge of HSEQ and compliance requirements within the rail industry desirable.
