An exciting opportunity has arisen for an EHS Manager based in York. The EHS Manager will support the SS&I business.
Role:
The successful candidate will advise the Project team on all aspects of EHS and offer support and assistance where required to maintain and improve EHS standards.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring employees and contractors to ensure that activities are undertaken in accordance with agreed standards and procedures
- Compilation of EHS reports, including KPIs, in line with required timescales
- Management of direct reports to meet company and project requirements
- Ensure team members objectives are set in line with company requirements
- Carrying out training sessions/briefings on EHS topics as necessary to project team
Essential Requirements:
- Personal Track Safety (PTS) Certificate
- Member of IOSH
- NEBOSH Certification
- Experience of the railway industry
- Experience/trained auditor
Desirable:
- Experience in project quality management
- IEMA Certificate
- Knowledge of occupational EHS and operational railway safety regulations and standards
