Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

The role of the Facilities Manager is to ensure by way of Control that all Depot Facilities Maintenance Activities are carried out to the requirements of Statutory Legislation whilst adhering to Manufacturer recommendation and Guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- To manage all Depot PPMS's whilst ensuring all Plant and Equipment is maintained to a high standard
- To manager, control and implement cost effective disposal of waste removal in line with ISO 14001
- Successful record keeping of facilities database in support of the maintenance facilities.
- Implement and coordinate measures to optimize energy and in doing so reduce service costs
- Completing WQIP (work in progress) billing reports and supporting the Account Manager in Aged debt
- To manager and implement the safe control of contractors on site
- To manager all Soft Service Activities to include Security office cleaning.
Skills or Required Experience:
- A Mechanical / Electrical background from would be preferred, particularly within a Rail environment, although not essential.
- Extensive work experience in a preventative maintenance role with a good understanding of all types of Plant and Systems.
- A financial and commercial acumen is a must as the role includes responsibility for keeping within the realms of the budget, completing WIP (Work in Progress) billing reports and supporting the Account Manager in chased Aged Debt.
- A background in Rail would be desirable
Qualifications:
- HNC Equivalent in Engineering or Building Services is desirable
- NEBOSH or IOSH General Standard of Certification or a Recognised Health and Safety Qualification is essential
