TXM Recruit are currently working with a worldwide vehicle manufacturer to recruit an Engineering Manager.

You will be responsible for all engineering aspects of the project directly managing Engineers, coordinating/prioritising the central engineering team.

Broadly, youll monitor train performance, propose solutions to reliability and availability issues, optimise the scope & related tasks of the maintenance plan and own the configuration & design change management of the project.

Well also look to you to:

• Manage the analysis of the technical performances of the systems
• Detect, define and implement the modifications of the maintained products to improve their reliability and serviceability
• Support other cost reduction actions
• Support the product safety management system, ensuring safety risks are mitigated.

• Honours degree in Railway Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Automation Engineering or Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
• Experience or understanding of Railways System/Application engineering
• Knowledge of rolling stock equipment & their maintenance
• Familiarity with safety management systems and safety risk assessments
• Capacity to manage technical risks
• Have an attention to detail.
