Fleet Manager – Midlands – £64,000 + Benefits

I am currently seeking a Fleet Manager who has strong experience in operational fleet planning while ensuring operating safety, efficiently and cost effective.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing regular KPI reports to be used to improve utilisation, cost efficiencies and maximise revenue
• Represent the Fleet team at senior management and strategical meetings
• Responsible for fuel budget and introduce initiatives to reduce spend and increase cost efficiency
• Responsible for the introduction of IT systems aimed at enhancing fleet utilisation, performance and cost.
• Line management of team of 3
• Maintain records ensuring the fleet operations comply with industry and safety regulations in the UK
• Manage relationships with fleet suppliers ensuring the services provided under their contracts are delivered within contractual guidelines
• Manage risk control to meet changing legal compliance

Key Skills:

• Significant experience of leading a sizeable Operational Fleet team
• Demonstrated ability to effective plan fleets within a fast-paced environment
• Significant experience within an ever-changing service delivery environment
• Ability to engage and influence operational stakeholders
• Exceptional planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage, encourage and motivate others to deliver results under time pressure
• Experience compiling high quality data reports to better inform the business of where investment might be needed and where efficiencies can be made
• High standard of IT skills and experience implementing new systems and processes in a large organisation
• Management or leadership qualification equivalent to ILM Level 5
