Mane Contract Services are currently recruiting for an HR Partner/Manager for a permanent position based in East London.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE), 25 days' holiday per year & public holidays + additional benefits.

Project Information
You will be working on a number of projects, primarily on Crossrail, the largest Infrastructure project in Europe.
General Responsibilities
Liaise with other HR Representatives on Crossrail to support recruitment for the project.
Manage benefit policies
Assist Managers in identifying/defining detailed personnel needs for their respective scopes.
Organize and manage hiring and training of Staff
Ensure with Financial team, the checking and transmission of monthly variable parameters for payroll
Assist all employees on the project on HR issues - You will be the key person to manage all social issues in liaison with line managers, HR and our client's international head office
Define and update social policies in accordance with UK rules and Group references
Staff Responsibilities
Manage and check all information to prepare monthly payroll in accordance and liaison with external agencies
Prepare and manage all information to hire UK and foreign candidates
Actively look for candidates when the line Managers 'network' fail to identify candidates.
Liaise with collaborative partnerships to follow their progress in identifying required staff
Assist Line manager in appraisal
To secure the mobilisation and the demobilisation of employees for each project
Maintain the file concerning all the Staff. This file will contain all the information related to staff including CVs, JDs, training requirements other than Safety as described required by the project plans and documents
Labour Responsibilities
Define the strategy to source labour, in liaison with Construction Managers and Procurement.
Participate to the evaluation of potential labour suppliers.
Training Responsibilities
From the training matrix defined by QHSE and training requirements expressed by Construction managers, define the training organisation and procurement strategy.
Organise the training in line with requirements
Manage the Training team or training subcontract
Required Experience
For this position, the ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and knowledge:
Degree or equivalent experience in a similar role
CIPD qualified (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development)
Knowledge of employment law and HR policies
Demonstrates practical knowledge and application of HR
Knowledge of budgetary control and building the people costs into operational budgets
Ability to create project plans and manage projects
Good presentation, negotiation and networking skills
Experience of handling Employee Relations
Experience of the construction or Rail sector (Desirable)
Foreign Languages professional relationship (French Desirable)
Dynamic and team spirit
