HSQE Manager in London, United Kingdom
HSQE Manager required for a global engineering solutions provider to the rail industry. The role can be based anywhere in the UK but regular visits to London will be required. Salary is up to £60k dependant on experience, plus an excellent benefits package.
Job Overview
The HSQE Manager shall effectively manage all aspects of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental. Driving the implementation and continuous improvement in all HSQE policies, procedures, and strategies.
Qualifications
- You will be a proven Manager of HSQE for projects up to £10m within the rail environment.
- Have an appropriate HSQE background with a minimum of 5 (ideally 10) years’ experience within the Rail Industry.
- A full cognisance of all relevant Railway Group and Network Rail Company Standard. Must be a holder of a current clean full British driving licence.
- Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate with 5 -10 years’ managerial experience in this field.
- Qualified PTS (preferred)
- Other rail qualifications as deemed necessary to carry out role in projects.
Responsibilities
To establish and manage a production organisation capable of delivering HSQE out into the workforce, planning and successfully executing a varying number of geographically and technically diverse Construction & Signalling projects within the working railway environment. Must also be capable of working closely with the client’s staff to develop and nurture good working relationships whilst marketing and portraying the company in a professional manner.
