Handover Manager in Hounslow, London, United Kingdom
Document Controller/Handover Manager required to join a large, leading rail contractor to be based in site office working on a high profile development project in West London!
Rate varies between £150-£220pd LTD depending on experience
MUST HAVE HANDOVER AND O&M BACKGROUND TO BE CONSIDERED
This contract is to start ASAP for approx a 6-12 month contract
Hours will be 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday
Daily duties will include things such as;
- Up/Downloading drawings onto EDMS System
- Input and agree handover delivery plan
- Collating and preparing O&M manuals throughout the project
- Transfer accepted delivery documentation on EDMS
- Review handover information for compliance and certificates before submission to client as per handover deliverables list
- Quality checking of documents to ensure they meet client and company standards
- Input and agree handover delivery plan with the Project Manager.
- Follow the HAL Method Guidance and processes for handover.
- Transfer accepted delivery documentation on EDMS
- Completing AMA due diligence on documentation required for handover.
- Review handover information for compliance and certificates before submission to client as per handover deliverables list.
- Closeout of any NCR's raised relevant to handover in a timely manner.
- Produce and maintain handover trackers and deliverables schedules relevant to the project.
It is essential that candidates have a strong site administration and construction background to be shortlisted for the role as limited training is provided and you will need to hit the ground running.
Successful candidates must have:
- Previous experience working on site or in a project office
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word
- The ability to multitask
- Good attention to detail
