Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a IDC/IDR Assistant (6 - 9 Month FTC) to join our Rail team to work in Newport.

As a IDC/IDR Assistant, you will:

• Have a general overall knowledge of the various railway infrastructure disciplines and how they interact/interface with each other
• Assist the Design Integration Manager, Project Planner and wider team with the Design elements of the Integrated Programme
• Chair Design Integration meetings including IDC’s ensuring other design organisations are invited
• Advise the Design Integration Manager and the CEM where other design organisations do not support the design integration process
• Liaise with the CAD Manager as required regarding the update and maintenance of the CAD 3D model from a design integration perspective for his /her allocated geographic area

You will:

• Have knowledge of the IDC (Inter-disciplinary Check) process and responsibilities
• Be a Graduate or hold a HND
• Have knowledge of Company responsibilities under 14001
• Have previous CAD experience
• Be proficient in the use of Excel
