Are you looking to be part of one of the biggest Railway Infrastructure projects in the UK? Do you have experience as a Procurement Manager? Are you confident with the NEC form of subcontracts? If yes, then this is the opportunity for you!

This is an amazing opportunity for a Procurement Manager to embark on a huge billion pound project under a major tier 1 contractor.

The successful candidate will expect to lead package set up meetings using the Package Criticality Assessments (PCAs) and Package acquisition Plans (PAPs) to establish the procurement strategy. The candidate will also lead the Expression of Interest (EOI) process on 'Compete For'.

In conjunction with the SCM team, you will complete Financial (Creditsafe) and Common Assessment Standard (CAS) Assurance on tenderers and use the information to rank and shortlist tenderers. With the assistance of relevant stakeholders, you'll prepare the ITT package and lead the ITT process from inception of the package, to the completion of the Tender using the companies web based tender portal.

This fast-paced role the candidate will analyse the tender submissions into a fair tender comparison, and using the data, recommend the preferred Subcontractor on a Tender Recommendation Report (TRR).

The candidate will negotiate and settle prices with the preferred supplier. Drafting, issuing and expediting of subcontract and purchase orders, deeds, and agreements. The candidate will prepare the Recommendation For Award (RFA), and any business case or Loss & Mitigation report or other report or presentations required and obtain internal approval.

You will also assist in the onboarding of the approved Subcontractors or suppliers onto Tradex using SCM team.

The scope of works include 80km of new track, 17 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 75 overbridges and 24 million cubic metres of excavation!

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Procurement Manager (Sub contracts, materials, and plant hire) on Major Infrastructure projects
• Experience with NEC 3 Subcontractors
• Qualified by experience or academically with A Levels, HNC, or a Degree
• MCIPS (or working towards)
• Infrastructure supplier & product knowledge
