About The Role

We are seeking an Installation Manager E&P for our rail division.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

As part of your day to day role, you are responsible for the following:

• Managing sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure effective and safe delivery of projects
• Liaising with the project manager to ensure that project changes are identified in a timely manner and that the impacts (costs, programme, risk etc) are addressed.
• Managing the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to streamline and improve Construction deliverables
• Undertaking Site/quality audits.
• Planning all necessary DRN and ARN requirements to support works.
• Setting up of site implementation
• Managing of Enter into Service phase of projects
• Undertaking site inspections and audits to verify the effectiveness of work processes and quality of works against agreed standards/designs
• Identifying forecasted resource, liaise with training manager to ensure projects are suitably resourced with competent staff
• Identifying possession requirements for works and liaise with planners to ensure these are booked in a timely manner.
• Maintaining a project ‘box plan’ driven from P6 approved programme of works which forms the basis of the lookahead resource needs
• Effective liaising with HSEQ.
• Ensuring the adequate preparation, review and approval of ordering schedules for: plant, tools and resources
• Ensuring the accurate preparation and integration of technical, cost and programme information for the construction elements of Linbrooke Rail bids and delivery projects
• Identifying requirements for site documentation (WPP/TBs) and ensure these are produced in a timely manner
• Undertaking appropriate readiness checks to ensure that schedule works are planned thoroughly and support safe and effective delivery
• Acting as the focal point for the integration of construction delivery with other elements of Linbrooke Services Limited delivery and to effectively delegate this duty as appropriate on specific projects and programmes
• Working, safely, as directed by your line manager

Essential Attributes & Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent team member with organisational and time management skills
• IT literate
• Driving licence
• An understanding and appreciation of the CDM Regulations.
• An understanding and appreciation of applicable NR standards.
• Practical experience and appreciation of system design, development of system design, safety concepts and associated decision making as applied to railway E&P.
