Integration and T&C Manager: Mumbai Metro

My client is a leading railway engineering company looking to recruit an experience railway Integration and Testing & Commissioning Manager for the Mumbai Metro in India. This is a senior key position on the project and involves leading technical coordination of the project as it moves through design, installations, testing and final handover to the client.

This is a key expert role and comes with full expat package including accommodation and tax free salary.

Duties of the position

Lead the System Integration and T&C team to perform the following tasks

* Be responsible for the overall technical coordination of the project Particularly from the point of view of proper integration of all Systems to Systems packages (including track and E&M) in all technical and operational areas to ensure delivery of a safe and coherent metro system, in full cooperation with the Interface teams already implemented, the Deputy Civil PM & the Deputy PM Systems.
* System Integration and Interface Management on the Project in cooperation with Civil to Civil & Civil to Systems Interface Manager.
* Participate actively in system Safety and Safety Certification (EN 50126 RAMS) of the Systems on the project along in full cooperation with RAMS manager.
* Be responsible for Testing & Commissioning of the system as a whole.
* Develop the interfacing strategy and planning for completing the systems interfaces activities of the MML3 project to ensure that the necessary interface activities can be accomplished in timely manner throughout the project life cycle.
* Be a focal point with Systems interface works package contractors and designated interface contractors and suppliers.
* Interact on site with the sub-systems and third parties on all matters related to the integration of the transport system.
* Perform impact analysis for the interface Requirements and designs changes and advise the impact of the changes to the management for decision making.
* Coordinate the activities of each systems contractor related with System integration to achieve the integration objectives on the project in coordination with the Civil to Civil & Civil to Systems interface manager.
* Attend coordination meetings with all project contractors and communicate issues & concerns relative to coordination, approvals and implementation of system interfaces designs.
* Manage and offer real-time mitigation strategies for the relevant interfaces resolution process to ensure that all interface conflicts are addressed and resolved satisfactorily.
* Get truly involved in final Systems integrated Testing, Testing & Commissioning and Trial Running of the System to ensure that all interfaces requirements are truly and successfully validated before revenue operations.
* Contribute in preparation / finalization of relevant O&M manual.
* Contribute in planning the training for O&M staff of MMRCL.

Requirements to apply
Degree qualified in Engineering or Science based discipline
20+ years of railway experience, with 10+ years in Metro Projects
Expertise in railway systems integration management of all E&M disciplines
Full project life-cycle experience on a metro project.
Full understanding of the Testing and Commissioning phase.
Fluent in English language both spoken and written.
