We are currently working with a multidisciplinary design, engineering, and landscape architecture consultancy with services including Highways & Civil Engineer, Transport Planning, and Flood/Water management who are looking to expand their London office by hiring a Junior Bid Manager to join the team. As Junior Bid Manager you will support the Bid Management process with effective and efficient management of response to tenders and proposals for new work, to both existing and new customers. You will be required to support the Business and Commercial Manager, as well as Proposal Management in the management of bids and other business development activities.

As Junior Bid Manager you will support the Bid Management process with effective and efficient management of response to tenders and proposals for new work, to both existing and new customers. You will be required to support the Business and Commercial Manager, as well as Proposal Management in the management of bids and other business development activities.
As Junior Bid Manager your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Logging all bids, downloading documents, and filing in line with our Bid Management and QMS process
- Managing tender portals including responses, tender queries, and opportunity searches
- Setting up gateway reviews for tenders and proposals in line with gateway review process
- Completing PQQ documents and supplier questionnaires when required
- Working with technical leads to produce compelling and quality bid responses and ensuring high quality proposals are submitted on time.
- Reviewing and ensuring staff keep CVs up to date and ensuring they are filed correctly, checked for quality and version controlled.
- Updating case studies
- Obtaining feedback on successful and unsuccessful proposals to ensure continuous improvement in the bid process and reviewed with senior management.
- Updating CRM with new opportunities and keeping bid status up to date and ensuring pipeline data is accurate.
- Administrating CRM database
- Maintaining the Bid Collateral Library
- Produce templates and standardised documentation.
Job requirements:
- Relevant Degree or equivalent qualification Desirable
- APMP Foundation Level Desirable
- Ideally upwards of 2 3 years experience in working with Bid Management / Proposal writing.
- Ability to work under own management and motivation dealing with reactionary tasks, and day to day admin management.
- Excellent communicator with great attention to detail
- A flexible approach and an ability to prioritise tasks as required.
- Good knowledge of the public procurement process
- Experience of working as part of a busy bid team
- Knowledge and experience of using Adobe InDesign would be ideal but not essential.
- Good all-round understanding of document production and formatting and creation of flow charts and graphics
