Labour Manager

Location: Hook, Hampshire

Salary: £40,000- £45,000 plus commission package, Van, Company phone

Benefits: 22 days holiday, pension

Job Description

Syntech are currently working with a client that requires a Labour Manager to co-ordinate and manage operatives on a contract basis through the provision of the required labour resources, delivering to the satisfaction of the clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Will be required to visit site and meet with the Department Managers to engage and meet their labour requirements
• Manage the transfer of labour between projects, locally and nationally
• Liaise with the resourcing team to establish the needs of the clients and deliver on labour to site
• Deliver or collect PPE, tools and equipment when required
• Carry out allocated on-call duty as told by Line Manager
• Review worker performance weekly
• Complete key performance reports weekly and send to clients where appropriate
• Create and develop business opportunities with both existing and new clients
• Arrange regular site visits
• Maintain and build good relationships with clients

About you

• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• PC skills including MS Office or database experience
• Good organisational skills
