Labour Support Manager in London Southern, United Kingdom
POSITION: LABOUR SUPPORT MANAGER
PURPOSE: To Lead on the Employer Engagement of the Rail Futures & NSS delivery streams
REPORTING TO: Operations Director
LOCATIONS : London North Western, London North Eastern and London Southern
SALARY: £32,000 - £35,000k per annum
We require an experienced, reliable, self-motivated individual who can support the development of our employer engagement strategy. This role will build on our existing employer relationships and support us to drive our provision to a national offering. The role will work closely with our Head of Employer Engagement and report direct to the Operations Director. Relationship building and strong communication skills are key to the success of this role.
As part of your duties, you may, within the constraints of your contract, be expected to: -
Resourcing
- Liaise with our employers to gain support and buy in to our Rail Futures Programmes
- Maintain regular contact with all employers within your region
- Ensure that we meet all letters of support requirements within the given timeframe
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Employer Engagement and Operations Director to ensure we meet all our commitments with employers and FE Partners
- Support with meeting all commitments relating to ad hoc resourcing enquiries
- Build and develop new relationships with key employers within the industry
Candidate Engagement
- Deal with all internal enquiries from our sponsored learners and respond timely to all requests
- Ensure that all our sponsor records are kept up to date and are compliant as per the sponsorship rules
- Work with the Head of Employer Engagement on the management of sponsored learners
Testimonial follow ups/drafting
- Support the Head of Employer Engagement with gathering testimonials and feedback from employers and sponsored candidates
- Track and follow through with destination and career progression details for learners who progress in the rail industry
Employment Tracking employer led facilities
- Keep accurate records and data of sponsors employment journey
- Deliver monthly reports for the Head of Employer Engagement and Senior Team
- Develop bespoke destination data on an ad-hoc basis for our FE partners
Health and Safety
- Complete H&S briefings, toolbox talks and site audits to meet our obligations as a RISQS approved supplier
Opportunities sourcing
- Monitor social media platforms & jobs boards for ad-hoc contingent vacancies and engage with the organisations to place candidates
- Support the Employment team to develop new client opportunities where possible
