**MUST HAVE RAIL EXPERIENCE**
Working very closely with the Director of Account for our projects you will support the development of winning strategies for my client in pre-qualifications and tenders, creating and articulating an optimal strategy for each bid. You will lead the formulation of partnering and delivery of strategies including engagement with the supply chain to ensure that work is won with agreed profit margins. As an experienced Manager, you will ensure the appropriate development and implementation of policies and procedures and ensure the Bid Team complies with all health, safety and other statutory regulations including alignment with both industry standards and Group policies and procedures.
With an established network of contracts, you will establish and maintain effective relationships to exchange information and views and ensure the Bid Team is providing the appropriate range and quality of services required to win value propositions in lieu of tenders. Where required, you will represent or ensure the Business Unit is represented, in negotiations with customers, suppliers, and other key contacts to secure the most effective contract terms for us.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience gained within the rail industry and come from a background in management, ideally gained within TOCs, Network Rail or major contractors. You will have a proven track record of project delivery and operational management and experience of budget control, cost saving and reporting skills. You will be required to work closely with internal and external stakeholders therefore excellent communication skills are essential. It is essential you are a holder of a valid PTS certificate. .
