Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Specialists are working with an award-winning light rail operator in the North West of England, partnering up with them on recruiting several key roles related to the maintenance and presentation of the infrastructure and vehicles across the network.
The role of Network Presentation & Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the overall environment (internal and external) is of the highest cleanliness, hygiene and presentation. This will include the contract management of the cleaning contract as well as the facilities management contracts.
Responsibilities
- Continuous monitoring of business and Network Performance & Presentation.
- Accurate and timely approach to tasks.
- Monitor the performance against Agreements in place and take early action to avoid failures.
- Ensure that minimal penalties are awarded against the contract.
- Manage, mentor and develop team members.
- Liaise on a regular basis with the Management Team and to interface with external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain robust, co-operative and professional relationships with internal departments and external contractors.
- Demonstrate good working relationships with other departments so you can offer ideas and plans to optimise the Network Presentation team as the network changes and grows.
- Tracking achievement against Performance Payment Regime (PPR).
- Collection/preparation of data for periodic reports and information for internal and external customers.
- Adhere to and manage the approved budget.
- Manage a budget in line with the business governance and control processes.
Requirements
- Must have experience of managing an outsourced contract & managing a team.
- Experience of facilities management including all internal furniture, telecoms cleaning, environmental issues.
- Experience of implementing a range of change management and process improvement activities.
- Managing a network and managing stakeholders such as Local Councils.
- You demonstrate good working relationships with other departments, so you can offer ideas and plans to optimise the customer experience team as the network changes and grows.
