TBM PLC Electrical Supervisor - Italy

ewi are recruiting on behalf of a major international contractor who are seeking an Electrical engineer specialising in tunnelling to work with a large TBM tunnel construction project in Italy. This role is to be employed on a permanent/long term contract basis and will have the opportunity to work on other tunnelling contracts Internationally.

Opportunity

Being a part of this project is an excellent opportunity to work with a major tunnelling project in Italy which represents one of the largest contracts in Europe. The client ewi recruitment is working with has connections and contracts on many global projects and is renowned for tunnelling works globally.

Project

The candidate must hold a specialised knowledge in Electrical Tunnelling Works with at least 3 years professional experience. This experience ideally will be specifically with tunnelling using TBMs and have PLC programming experience. They MUST speak fluent Italian and ideally hold all local Italian electrical certificates. The candidate will report into the Plant Manager.

The candidate will begin as soon as possible and be flexible to work on a project site in a remote location in Italy over the next 2-5 years. It will offer full accommodation, travel, food (3 a day) and a good rotation so will be a great package.

Requirements

For this role the client that ewi recruitment is working with have a minimum requirement of:

-At least 3 years experience in electrical engineering works
-Specialised knowledge and training in Electrical TBM works
-Tunnel experience preferable
- Experience with PLC programming
-Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering
-Fluent in Italian essential
