Programme Manager
Location – Work from Home/Remote
- Occasional visits to London/Milton Keynes office
- Requires quarterly travel to Toronto, Canada
Salary – £70,000 - £75,000 per annum
My client is currently recruiting for a Programme Manager to join their team on works and projects involving Metrolinx.
Metrolinx is a Crown agency of the Government of Ontario that manages and integrates road and public transport in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
About the role:
To manage the Project Specific Output Specifications (PSOS) as part of the Planning and Development stage of the project. Essentially, my client is working with a leading design consultancy to ensure their designs are procurable, unambiguous and meet the client’s requirements. A big part of this is managing the process of coordinating a multidisciplinary design team to compile the PSOS requirements.
The successful Programme Manager will be responsible for:
- Designing, implementing and managing processes to efficiently prepare the PSOS Schedule, Facilities Maintenance Operations Specification (FMOS) Schedule, plus the Defined Terms, Acronyms and Reference Documents Schedule.
- This includes organizing and coordinating the PSOS & FMOS team, the multidisciplinary design team, and the requirements management team with its use of Doors Next Generation (DNG) through each editorial draft leading to RFP issuance.
- Working in coordination with the TA Project Management team, responsible for preparing, managing and implementing processes to deliver quality control, including interface management, cross-Schedule coordination, interdisciplinary review processes, document control, formatting, and submission.
- Responsible for tool development to improve efficiency across PSOS development process, ensuring the team are utilizing and developing multiple tracking and reporting tools and various formatting macros.
- Working with a multidisciplinary design team plus leading CPCS’s interface with the Contracting Authority’s (CA’s) Project Delivery Team, Commercial Team and Legal Team.
My client requires the Programme Manager to have:
- Client-side and main-contractor experience (desirable)
- Relevant sector experience (Facilities maintenance, Rail, Civils, Construction, Highways, Metro etc.)
- Experience in design and design approval
