RAMS Manager: Riyadh Metro Project

A major international Engineering client are looking to employ a railway RAMS Manager to work on the Riyadh Metro project. This role requires a Degree qualified candidate with over 10 years experience in Railway projects specialising in RAMS.

Job functions;

The RAMS Manager has to cover his field (RAMS) during the design, construction, testing and commissioning phases of the project.

To manage all RAMS specific interfaces and aspects of the metro system.
Confirm, that the detailed design provided by the Design-Build contractor is fully in accord with the requirements.
Perform the duties and authority of the Engineer as well as administer the Design-Build contract.
Analyze and propose appropriate solutions in such cases where the regulatory framework does not offer an adequate rule.
Monitor the management of project interfaces.
Review the Design-Build Contractor in the provision of all technical resources that are necessary to operate and maintain the system with the required level of service and with the required performances.
He has to give short-term reply of RAMS specific questions and support in organisation of reviews, concepts, etc. He has to manage RAMS specific meetings and occasionally attend at management meetings.

Requirements to apply;

University Degree qualified preferably Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
Deep knowledge in railway/ metro safety, metro / railway technologies.
Expertise in the field of RAMS
Excellent communication skills & the ability to interface with internal design
