Rail Systems Supervision Manager - MENA Region

EWI are supporting a leading consultancy firm specialising in the development and management of prestigious rail projects across the MENA region, who are currently seeking a Railway Systems Supervision Manager to contribute to oversee the supervision of railway systems of a high-speed rail project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the supervision activities related to the railway systems for the high-speed rail project.
• Oversee the implementation of railway systems including track, signalling, electrification, communications, and other related infrastructure components.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor the progress and quality of railway system installation and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members on railway system design, construction, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and project requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the main point of contact for client communication and stakeholder management regarding railway system supervision matters.
• Prepare and present reports, progress updates, and recommendations to senior management and project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in railway system supervision or related roles, preferably in the high-speed rail or transportation sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing railway system supervision activities for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of railway systems including track design, signalling systems, electrification, communications, and safety systems.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team of professionals.
• Fluent in English

• Regional experience is preferred.
