We are working cloesly with a well known international Engineering business who are urgently seeking a Proposal Manager who has previous experience working with SCADA bid and tenders on a large scale.

The client are offering an initial 3 month rolling contract with a likelihood that it will then continue on a 6 motnh rolling contract. Day rate is up to £400 for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will need to have experience of SCADA Systems and technologies and previous experience of SCADA bids and tenders.

The role repsonsibilities include:

• Executes the project within the defined requirements (e.g. budget, time, functionality).
• Ensures business success and satisfaction of the customer and ensures professional stakeholder management.
• Ensures timely decisions on open issues, escalating if necessary.In the context of Engineering:
• Manages a network of technical specialists in order to prepare bids for customer specific components, systems or solutions.
• Coordinates the Engineering disciplines and the cooperation with involved regional Engineering units including their interfaces.
• Performs technical risk management.
• Acts as interface
• Responsible for developing SCADA bids & tenders
• Co-ordinating multi-disciplined teams (engineering, project management, test)
• 2 core elements to the role: 1) estimating and 2) putting together written proposals
