Company Information:
Working for a main contractor in the railway & civils sectors to support the complete redevelopment of a Large scale railway maintenance depot in preparation to bring a £500 million fleet of new Metro trains to the North East by the end of 2024
To be suitable for the position you must have;
Previous experience managing construction projects in the rail sector
Relevant qualifications ie Civil Engineering, Structures, Buildings or Construction Management.
Experience working on Railway Buildings works (stations / platform construction, upgrades and extensions, canopies, footbridges, multi-store car parking, Rail Depot works, warehouses etc)
CSCS / SMSTS
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
Worked on Railway Depot Projects in the past.
Membership to the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
Role Information;
Manage site operations on a large scale Railway maintenance depot redevelopment project.
Plan, co-ordinate & motivate allocated personal and resources. -
Coordinate materials, plant and equipment.
Prepare and implement site specific management plans to ensure site activities comply with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies.
Provide guidance and practical advice to site personnel for the competent execution of the contract works.
