Job Duties:

• Manage all aspects of a railway site to ensure maximum cost efficiency and effectiveness
• Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance and repair works, and site development
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, and local authorities
• Establish and implement effective safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Ensure site works comply with relevant Rail Standards and Regulations
• Analyse and draw up long-term development plans and budgets
• Communicate frequently with project teams to ensure all objectives, progress and deadlines are being met
• Undertake regular site visits to assess the condition of any new or existing assets and road crossings

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant professional certifications, such as IOSH or NEBOSH
• Strong understanding of Rail Standards and Regulations

Experience:

• At least 5 years of relevant project management experience within a Network Rail enviornment
• Proven track record of managing successful railway sites
• Experience working closely with key stakeholders such as contractors, suppliers, and local authorities

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• Sound problem solving and project management skills and capability to use own initiatives to resolve challenging tasks
• The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
• Proficiency in the use of computer software, such as MS Office Suite
