Location: North West
What is the purpose of this role?
To provide full Business Support to Senior Managers within Corporate/Large Operational offices (as defined by the framework), and ensuring an efficient service is provided. This role is responsible for the management of support services within the designated office and the management of a small team.
What will this role involve?
- Accountable for the delivery of business support services across an office/depot/compound/contract
- Maintaining appropriate records, ordering and financial control for Uniform/PPE, office equipment
- Operate and maintain quality systems
- Record and track purchase orders and timesheet information
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance is met as appropriate within the office environment
- Coordination of projects within own area
- Manage any necessary hiring of vehicles
- Manage inspection of vehicles and close out of defects
- Prioritise work load and respond to frequently changing demands
- Maintain e-rooms and general version control of relevant correspondence
- Ensure cost effective meeting and catering requirements are provided
- Act as a liaison point between the management team and customers
- Manage the development and performance of own business support team
- Management of the office / compounds to ensure maximum functionality and compliance
- Contract management of SLAs and KPI reporting, including accident statistics
- Ensure continuity of work levels during business support absence
- Act as point of contact and support for Senior/Executive team members when visiting office
- Manage the work load for business support team
What are we looking for?
- High academic standard (A level or equivalent) or relevant experience in similar role
- Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint & SAP)
- Extremely good organisational and planning skills with ability to problem solve and prioritise workload with minimum direction or supervision
- Proven experience of multi-tasking and prioritising in a demanding environment
- Financial control (budgeting) and reporting
- Evidence of project management
