JOB TITLE: Site Manager
LOCATION: London
SALARY: £300-340 Per Day (Ltd)

THE CLIENT
My London based client is currently recruiting for a Site Manager with Principal Contractor experience for an initial 9 month contract.

THE ROLE
* Producing Construction Phase Plans (including H&S Plans), Risk Assessments, Work Package Plans (Method Statements) and Task Briefings for projects/packages under your control.
* Ensuring that projects plans are reviewed and updated and shared with relevant site staff.
* Reviewing, maintaining, updating and amending safe systems of work and ensuring they are recorded.
* Ensuring that all project personnel have the necessary experience, training and knowledge to carry out the duties allocated to them.
* Manage the work and ensure it is to standard and delivered within expected time frames.

ABOUT YOU
* Must have Principal Contractor experience
* Proven experience in civil engineering in the rail industry
* Ability to produce, implement and manage safe systems of work for construction procedures.
* Ability and confidence to communicate and present to Top Level Management, senior level clients and public.
* An understanding of the commercial issues on a construction project.
* Ability and confidence to discuss engineering issues with people across various levels and disciplines.
* Must have a valid PTS
* Relevant qualifications - (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent)
* Good IT Skills
