Site Manager

£45,000 - £50,000 + Company car or car allowance

Site based throughout Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire/Kent/Sussex (must be flexible to travel/lodge)

This is an opportunity for an established and flexible Site manager to join an esteemed main contractor and deliver Environmental agency frameworks throughout a thriving region which is seeing framework projects being won daily!

The Opportunity

Working site to site throughout the South, you can expect to see yourself working on a variety of Environmental Agency frameworks such as general civils and ground works, embankment repairs and maintenance, flood alleviation works, flood damage repair, structural renewals and maintenance etc. This will see you travelling throughout the South throughout the home counties so it will require somebody who is flexible to lodge and travel – fully expensed by the company.

What is expected of me as Site Manager?

• Manage and supervise the site operations including labour, sub-contractors, plant and materials.
• Continuous monitoring of contract progress against programme to ensure contract timescales and objectives are being met.
• Liaise with site staff and commercial staff to ensure the works are delivered within tender allowances.
• Produce and brief method statements and task briefings to all reporting personnel.
• Daily White Board Briefs, Deliver Toolbox Talks, Brief Task Briefs.
• Ensure that robust records are maintained i.e., diaries, allocation sheets, plant etc
• Contribute to planning of works on a daily basis and plan efficient use of resource.

Package:

The company are offering a generous package of £45,000 - £50,000 basic per annum DOE, company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday, travel and lodging fully expensed, Westfield Healthcare plan and 5% matched pension.

About you

It is essential that you’re somebody who is flexible to travel long distances and lodge across the South of England, as this role will see you covering sites in Kent, Sussex, London, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Sussex etc.

Experience working on Environmental Agency projects is preferred but not essential as you may come from a background working on civils associated water utilities projects/frameworks – but heavy civils is a must!

SSSTS/SMSTS and CSCS tickets are essential, and you must also hold a Full UK driving license.
