CLIENT

Linum Consult’s client is working on a major rail project in the Baltics. They are currently seeking a Stakeholder Manager specialising in rail to join their team on a 6-month contract in Latvia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting the project to achieve quality, cost, and time objectives
• Developing and implementing a stakeholder management plan for the whole project, based on the PMI Book of Knowledge or equivalent and best practices, ensuring effective stakeholder management and reputation building
• Developing appropriate strategies and guidelines for the effective engagement with stakeholders, including Governmental entities, Private entities, non-governmental sector organisations; building and developing sustainable relations to facilitate the company’s activities
• Building, developing, managing, and sustaining strong stakeholder relationships, and acting as a liaison between the company and key external stakeholders regarding the delivery of the project
• Providing support to Project Managers in the implementation of stakeholder management processes, particularly related to the detailed technical design phase
• Attending meetings between key stakeholders, the company and consultants representing the project’s interests
• Updating the stakeholders contact management system, and establishing an efficient and effective system for centralised records on stakeholder engagement activities

PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree qualification in Communications, Business, Public Relations, or similar field
• At least 5 years’ experience of liaising and coordinating with key stakeholders on large construction projects
• Strong background within the civil engineering industry, ideally in railway construction projects, or other infrastructure construction projects
• Previous experience of project management and planning
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to build relationships with influential people at all levels within and outside the organisation
• Must have your own Limited company
• EXCELLENT DAY RATE available – must be immediately available or able to join at short notice
• 6-month initial contract with the possibility of extension
