Please note that SYMCA follows a structured salary grading system for all roles, and the offered salary for each post will be at the starting point within the specified grade. Key Responsibilities
As the Supertram Performance and Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing the performance and delivery of Supertram services on behalf of SYMCA as system commissioner, ensuring that obligations and performance metrics of the service, system and Operator, as outlined in the Operating Agreement are managed, monitored and reported. You will measure and monitor the performance of the Supertram operating company and other departments within SYMCA responsible for tram activity.
A key requirement of the role is to drive continuous improvement across all areas of the Supertram business (Operations, Asset Management, Customer Experience, Revenue Protection and Security) with a view to identifying opportunities to support the growth of patronage on the Supertram system and improve customer satisfaction.
You will identify, collate, and analyse relevant data to understand trends and future projections in relation to the Supertram system to inform operational and strategic decision making and present this information to all levels.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You will have substantial experience in managing service level agreements and contracts, ideally with obligations relating to service delivery, key performance indicators, health and safety, and asset maintenance. Whilst not essential, the ideal candidate would have a good understanding of public transport operations, specifically relating to tramways.
You will have proven experience interpreting highly specialised data and other information, able to process large quantities of information and develop suitable, cost-effective strategies/delivery plans for progression. You will be experienced in presenting such interpretation at a senior level to drive decision making. You will also have substantial experience and demonstrable ability to manage large volumes of complex data using digital solutions (e.g, MS Access, PowerBI).
