Sustainability Manager (NEOM Spine) in NEOM, Saudi Arabia
The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are seeking a Sustainability Manager to join the construction management team on the Neom Project in Saudi Arabia.

The project is rapidly developing with over 2,800 employees from 86 countries already living and working on-site, it is already laying the foundations of being the new economic model for the country. This role will be supporting our client with the supply of precast segments for railway tunnels.
Job Role / Responsibilities
As a Sustainability Specialist on this project, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all aspects of the construction project align with sustainable design and development principles. You will play a crucial role in promoting and implementing sustainable practices throughout the project's lifecycle. Your specific duties will include:
- Sustainable Design Oversight: Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainable design principles into all phases of the project, from planning and design to construction and operation.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards and other sustainability certifications, as applicable to the project
- Environmental Impact Assessment: Conduct assessments to identify and mitigate potential environmental impacts associated with construction activities
- Resource Efficiency: Implement strategies to optimize resource use, reduce waste, and enhance energy efficiency
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to promote sustainability goals and initiatives.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit sustainability reports, including LEED documentation, to relevant authorities and stakeholders.
Location
The role will be based on Neom, Saudi Arabia.
Requirements
- A formal tertiary education qualification in Sustainable Design and/or Sustainable Development and/or Architectural Engineering with a sustainability specialty.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in the design and construction industry, with a focus on sustainability, in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries.
- Demonstrated experience in the sustainable design of projects of similar size and nature to the works to be delivered under the Contract.
- LEED accredited Professional (AP) certification for at least 5 years with a proven track record of working on LEED projects in the GCC countries.
