A well known international Consultant is looking for a System Integration / Systems Engineering Manager to coordinate the Systems Engineering Team based in Perth - Australia. The perfect candidate will have extensive experience in railway projects and specific experience in Systems Integration of Railway Systems. We expect the project will enter into a key stage the commissioning of a new Railway Line, and a System Integration / Systems Engineering Manager will be asked to play a significant role. The role The System Integration / Systems Engineering Manager will follow the conclusion of the Design Stage and will be involved in the Test and Commissioning stage of this complex Railway project. The System Integration / Systems Engineering Manager will be the reference point of Engineering Team of the project. Key responsibilities will include:
* be the first interface with the Contractor, each E&M / CW responsible, the Railway Authority, the Independent Safety Assessor
* ensure smooth and effective management of the Team and Technical Delivery, considering both technical and coordination aspects
* coordinate with the Staff of the Contractor that is assigned to system integration / engineering activities * manage the systems engineering processes planning and coordinating of the systems engineering activities (requirements management, configuration, technical interface management and RAMS)
* Review test & commissioning management plans, test criteria & procedures, where applicable
* Attendance of system integration tests, and review result report
* Witness to the execution of Tests and trial run sessions, to be performed with the participation of subsystem T&C managers, related T&C groups and System Operator.

Qualifications & experience
* Extensive professional experience in railway projects
* Specific experience in System Integration and Systems Engineering management of Railway Systems
* Excellent communication skills and a good level of written and spoken English.
