Systems Interface Manager - Canada

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialists are supporting a leading European consultancy and are requiring a Systems Interface Manager for a rail project in Vancouver, Canada.

• Coordination of internal review of technical documentations (e.g. design packages, system integration/ system assurance documents, etc.)
• Identification of reviewers among the different teams, follow up of review process to ensure comments are properly considered etc.
• Review of technical documentation, including design packages, RAMS docs, etc.
• Coordination of integration of the design to ensure that each designer is talking into account all inputs provided by the different parties
• Participation to periodical meetings both internally to the JV and with the Client / external parties
• Leading the coordination meeting with the Client on the station shared with another existing line
• Coordination of the process related to design change during construction (mainly related to design still not issued for construction)
• Knowledge of BIM is a plus.

Requirements for the role are:

• Degree qualified in Science or Engineering
• Minimum 12 years professional experience and evaluation expertise in railway transportation systems
• Profound experience in technical engineering and interface management as well as professional experience in requirements management including verification and validation, RAM, Safety, operational aspects, EMC, earthing and bonding, test & commissioning etc.
• Technical knowledge on all major subsystems of a railway turnkey project, e.g., Signaling, Railway Communication, Electrification, Power Supply, Rolling Stock, SCADA, AFC, Track Work etc.
• Willing to relocate to Canada
