Role & Responsibilities
- Provide both technical hardware and software support, on-site, for existing installations in Europe (and other locations as required).
- Provide the customers with total product support, including consultancy on system usage and data application, ensuring that the products become an integral part of the client's maintenance regimes.
- Leverage existing customer relationships and assist in providing business analysis services to promote new business opportunities and sales within the region.
- Contribute to product strategies from both a commercial and technical perspective to suit industry needs and corporate growth, in terms of creating and proposing solutions and adoption of new technologies.
- Contribute to the effective operation of the group and to the achievement of sales, delivery, quality and profitability goals.
- Help establish, improve and maintain quality control processes and systems and documentation for European and Global operations.
Essentials
- Broad knowledge of and experience in railway maintenance processes and/or remote condition monitoring systems or transferable industries.
- Experience managing projects.
- Experience and understanding of customer relationship management.
- The ability to provide training to and consult with users at both a maintenance and data user level.
- Technical knowledge of system architecture and functionality.
- Good management, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to planning, implementing, following and enforcing quality processes.
- Competency in the installation, setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of software, electrical and mechanical systems.
- The willingness to work extended hours / weekends if needed.
- The willingness to travel with job.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in software packages - QL, Java, C, MATLAB (desirable).
