Wind Site HSE Manager - Netherlands
Key Tasks and Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
- It is the general responsibility and obligation to adhere to all HSE standards, protocol's and best practices. A Site HSE Manager shall be the motor of safety culture and safe work by being proactive with all the personnel & the activities performed on site to preserve the Health & Safety of every worker and the site environment
- As per the Project expectations and the in-country laws. Specifically, an HSE Manager shall ensure the preservation of the natural environment for the areas in which work is to be performed as well as to promptly report any spillage, littering or other events that could negatively affect the surrounding area.
- It is expected that all employees conduct themselves in a professional manner observing common laws but also local laws provided in the site induction. Moreover, it is expected to be sensitive to the cultural expectation of the community. Additionally, a Site Manager shall ensure the preservation of the natural environment
Health, Safety and Environmental related responsibilities:
- The HSE manager has to ensure that all project management activities comply with general HSE regulations and specific HSE regulations for construction sites
- Develop & review Project HSE documentation: HSE Plan, Risk assessment, Emergency response plan, etc.
- Prepare a welcome package and HSE site inductions
- Responsible for HSE documentation collection and "release to work" stage of new personnel
- Lead & follow the implementation of HSE plan & safe system of work
- Maintain the open and transparent communication with Customer representative related to HSE topics
- Collect HSE observations, incident information and propose action plans
- Maintain a continuous reporting of HSE observations
- Maintain a tracker for the HSE progress and support in the HSE culture development
- Prepare and update the Monthly HSE Report
Work scope related responsibilities:
- Close cooperation with the Site Manager & Project Manager in establishment of the site regarding general HSE matters
- Necessary preparation in terms of HSE (documentation, site access & pad conditions, compounds, site set-up risk assessment, site environmental aspects and impacts assessment, etc.)
- Perform the process of Site Induction & personnel documentation check
- Ensure safe conditions are maintained on site
- Ensure the site activities are compliant with the local laws
- Close cooperation with the Site Manager in execution of the site
- Support the SM in the notification and the investigation of any incident occurring on site.
- Coordinate in agreement with the Site Manager the Safe System of Work (Permit to Work, Change Management, LOTO, etc
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor in Engineering related careers or Master specialized in HSE is suggested/preferable, but work experience shall be regarded as more relevant

- Car driving license
