We have a current opportunity for a Works Manager on a contract basis, this is to be based in the North East, for a long term prestigious Rail Project for a Tier 1 client.

The successful Works Manager, will be an experienced candidate with 7+ years working in Rail, with a Civils & Infrastructure background, and who has completed work on large scale Rail projects before.

Due to location of the work, and this will be a predominantly site based role, it is advantageous to live local/North East based. However for the right candidate, they will accept lodging etc.

Works Manager experience -
1. Number of years in a Senior GF/Works manager role previous
2. Tier 1/PC experience
3. Working with and managing teams of subbys/gangs
4. Worked on Civils & Infrastructure projects

The Works Manager role will be CIS Umbrella
Rate DOE - £400 to £450
Length of contract is 6-12 months initial, with the view for extension
Start date - ASAP, however notices will be taken into consideration
