Job Summary
- Performs a variety of tasks in support of survey or construction activities.
- Duties may differ depending on the specialty area.
- Activities may include setting up and operating equipment; inspecting equipment; inspection of engineering installations for compliance with specifications; maintaining project documentation; assisting with the building, repair, or maintenance of a structure or roadway.
- Relies on general understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to plan and accomplish moderate goals.
- Works under direct supervision.
Minimum Requirements
- Reporting to the Safe Work Pack Manager, the Junior Planner shall work towards production of Safe Work Packs/safety documentation to enable AECOM staff to carry works safely on Network Rail infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidate will hold a Science/Technology/Engineering/Maths (STEM) qualification of HNC equivalent or higher (if no rail experience) or hold Personal Track Safety (PTS) and can demonstrate at least 12 months rail experience (if rail experience)
