We are currently recruiting for a Lawyer with 2-4 years of experience to join an exciting and dynamic project team. We are currently recruiting for a Lawyer with 2-4 years of experience to join an exciting and dynamic project team. You will have the opportunity to be part of the delivery team for the largest infrastructure scheme in Europe, offering a rare chance to work on a high-impact, complex, and transformative project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality legal support, including drafting, reviewing, and advising on legal documents.
- Offer expert advice to stakeholders at all levels on all aspects of commercial and contract law related to the project.
- Lead on procurement and negotiation of high-value, complex construction, funding agreements, and other contracts.
- Address legal issues related to corporate law, intellectual property, finance, and technology.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, providing legal insight on commercial issues.
- Ability to draft and present complex legal documents and reports to a range of audiences.
- Proficient in preparing complex legal drafting independently.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, influencing at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, especially in situations without established precedent.
- Flexible and collaborative approach, comfortable working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a focus on contracting or construction law.
- Experience in contract law and/or procurement law, with particular expertise in major projects.
- Hands-on experience in UK-based construction or infrastructure projects, or experience dealing with Government Departments, utilities, or transport projects would be an advantage.
- Experience can be gained either in-house or through private practice.
