One of well established rail contractor is hiring! They have a fantastic opportunity for an P6 Project Planner to join their team on a permanent basis based in Surrey offering Hybrid working to work around you,

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifying and highlighting critical milestones to the Project Manager to enable the projects to keep running to plan

• Producing and monitoring weekly and monthly programme costs and progress reports and working with the Project Manager to keep the projects running to plan

• Ensuring efficient implementation of the programmes and projects

• Understanding and ensuring compliance with the company health & safety policy, Principal Contractor’s Licence (PCL), operations, quality and environmental procedures

• Ensuring all work planned conforms to the requirements of the Safe System of Work process and all associated Network Rail / London Underground Standards.

• Any other reasonable responsibilities

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS

Essential :

• Previous experience in the railway civil engineering environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Highly computer literate.

• Detailed knowledge of the Safe System of Work Planning process.

• In depth knowledge and understanding of project planning software, particularly Primavera P3

Desirable :

• Understanding of risk assessment processes and techniques.

• HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering.

• Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification

• LU Track Accustomed Certification
