Nature and Scope:

We are looking for a motivated Project Planner (proficient in both MS projects and Primavera P6 software) to join our Bid team and support us deliver high quality, competitive, robust, practical and efficient project programmes.

The role is within our high performance bid team and a great opportunity to get exposure, within relatively short timescales, in various projects we deliver. The role will be challenging and demanding to deliver high quality project programme with multi-disciplinary interfaces, hence a great opportunity to grow and learn about specialist skills of our industry as a professional.

Experience in electrical projects is must.

Public sector infrastructure projects experience is preferred.

Educational background in engineering is preferred but not must if the experience can prove sufficient level of knowledge

Key Competencies:

P6 primavera professional level.
Large scale High voltage Electrical infrastructure projects / works experience, civils and cabling works experience


Principal Accountabilities:

Deliver planning function for large scale high voltage infrastructure bids.
Work to bid plan

Work closely with bid manager and bid team

Deliver efficient and practical project programme in line with client requirements, bid teams strategy and UKPN services policies and procedures

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

10 years' experience in developing MS projects and P6 primavera programmes for Electrical High Voltage infrastructure projects

Rail industry experience

Substation works experience

ICP / cabling, civils experience

Bachelors in a technical field (preferred)

P6 Primavera professional qualification (preferred)
