As a key player in this transformative project, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning Manager to lead and manage the planning works of our Joint Venture.
Job Role / Responsibilities
- The job role will be work in the field of Planning Manager. They will be responsible for effectively managing the planning works of the JV
- Lead and oversee the planning department of the Joint Venture, ensuring the effective management of all planning activities related to the NEOM project.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, including resource allocation and budgeting, to ensure the successful execution of various aspects of the project.
- Monitor and control project progress, identifying potential delays or issues and proactively implementing corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to gather project data, analyze performance, and make data-driven decisions to optimize project planning and execution.
- Implement best practices and industry standards for project planning, scheduling, and risk management to ensure efficient and successful project delivery.
- Mentor and guide team members, providing support and expertise to enhance their skills and knowledge in planning and project management.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations to update senior management and stakeholders on project status and key performance indicators.
Location
The role will be based on NEOM, Saudi Arabia.
Requirements
- A minimum of 20 years of working experience in planning and project management, with a strong track record of successfully managing complex projects.
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is essential.
- Previous experience working on projects in the Saudi Arabia region is highly preferred, with a deep understanding of local regulations and practices.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and address project challenges in a proactive manner.
- Familiarity with advanced planning tools and software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
