As part of your day to day role, you are responsible for the following;

  • Applying for and booking engineering worksites, line blockages, isolations and TS11s using the Possession Planning System (PPS).
  • Liaising with area planning teams and other contractors to integrate and successfully de-conflict work, whilst minimising commercial risk.
  • Liaising with Network Rail and 3rd parties to maximise available track access.
  • Identifying possession / engineering access risks and arranging mitigation measures.
  • Representing Linbrooke project works as required at access planning and whiteboard meetings.
  • Identifying and communicating interface arrangements.
  • Maintaining accurate records and appropriately recording lost access and/or delays.
  • Implementing approved best practice techniques to ensure that business and industry standards are maintained.
  • Contributing to the performance, development, and success of the planning department to promote a cohesive and high performing team.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCE

Essential

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent team member with organisational and time management skills
  • IT literate – Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Thorough understanding of NR/L2/OHS/019 including modules 1,2,3,4 & 5
  • Sentinel – Personal Track Safety (PTS)
  • Competent in the use of PPS & GZAM

Desirable

  • Sentinel - Safe System of Work Planner (SSOWP)
  • Sentinel - Controller of Site Safety (COSS)
  • Sentinel - Safe Work Leader 1 (SWL1)
