As part of your day to day role, you are responsible for the following;
- Applying for and booking engineering worksites, line blockages, isolations and TS11s using the Possession Planning System (PPS).
- Liaising with area planning teams and other contractors to integrate and successfully de-conflict work, whilst minimising commercial risk.
- Liaising with Network Rail and 3rd parties to maximise available track access.
- Identifying possession / engineering access risks and arranging mitigation measures.
- Representing Linbrooke project works as required at access planning and whiteboard meetings.
- Identifying and communicating interface arrangements.
- Maintaining accurate records and appropriately recording lost access and/or delays.
- Implementing approved best practice techniques to ensure that business and industry standards are maintained.
- Contributing to the performance, development, and success of the planning department to promote a cohesive and high performing team.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCE
Essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent team member with organisational and time management skills
- IT literate – Microsoft Office
- Full Driving Licence
- Thorough understanding of NR/L2/OHS/019 including modules 1,2,3,4 & 5
- Sentinel – Personal Track Safety (PTS)
- Competent in the use of PPS & GZAM
Desirable
- Sentinel - Safe System of Work Planner (SSOWP)
- Sentinel - Controller of Site Safety (COSS)
- Sentinel - Safe Work Leader 1 (SWL1)
