SSOW Planner

Rate: £300 per day - PAYE/UMB

Location: Glasgow

Length of Contract: 3 months rolling contract

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and create comprehensive Safe System of Work (SSOW) Packs, ensuring the safety of all personnel working on or near railway tracks.

-Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify hazards associated with the site and work activities.

-Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective safety planning.

-Ensure all work adheres to rail safety regulations, standards, and legal requirements.

-Maintain strong communication with work teams, providing clear instructions and ensuring understanding of safety measures.

-Continuously review and update SSOW plans to reflect any changes in site conditions or regulations.

-Participate in safety audits and incident investigations to improve safety measures.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

-A proven track record of preparing all associated SSOW plans

- Valid SSOWP qualification

-PTS

- Able to start on a week’s notice (ideally)
