BIM Survey Processing and Modelling Engineer

Salary: From £28,000 - £35,000 per annum

Our client is looking for an experienced BIM Survey Processing and Modelling Engineer to join a high performing team working on high profile projects in the rail industry. The successful candidate will produce and deliver engineering surveys of all kinds to a consistently high standard and be responsible for processing and timely delivery of accurate Survey, CAD and other mapping deliverables to company standards using Industry approved Laser Scanning processing and Surface Modelling Software for use in AutoCAD / MicroStation and REVIT.

You will need:

• In-depth knowledge of surveying principles and standards

• Excellence in survey processing systems and software especially Laser Scanning Software and both Wire Frame and Surface Model deliverables, AutoCAD and sound knowledge of MicroStation.

The role:

• Assist the team in achieving targets set for delivery of projects to current engineering and safety standards, within agreed timescales and budgets
• Undertake processing of Survey Data using Leica Cyclone / Cloud Worx / Undet / n4CE (or similar industry approved software) and AutoCAD / MicroStation.
• Provide ideas and advice in all areas of surveying
• Support the overall Site Services team to develop within the business
