Rullion are looking for qualified electrical/mechanical fitters to be part of a long term project, ending Summer 2021.

Umbrella Rates are as follows:
First 12 Weeks:
Days: £24.15 per hour
Nights: £28.62 per hour

Post 12 Weeks:
Days: £25.45 per hour
Nights: £30.16 per hour

£1.00 per hour retainer payment is payable on completion of project (subject to terms and conditions).

Shifts:

Days and Nights - 40/48 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Duties include:

• Designated Person for Protection duties.
• Fuelling and system top up. (if required)
• General depot duties e.g.: Line of Routes.
• Primary fault finding/reporting.
• Basic maintenance competency e.g.: side skirt cleans, brake pads, block changes etc.
• Locomotive service exams.
• Depot cleaning/general housekeeping (This will have no impact on Cleaners headcount).
• Driving company vehicles if certified.
• Taking of fuel meter readings off rail vehicles.
• logbook to be updated accordingly.
• Mentoring others as and when required.
• Nominated person as required.
• Additional training for future similar roles/types of equipment.
• Corrective and preventative maintenance (Electrical or Mechanical, Coach Repairing & Plumbing).

Depot or fleet specific requirements where required:

• To be Authorised person where required
• Workshop repairs
• Hotel standards
• Understand and abide by safety notices, rules & regulations and follow safe working practices, H&SAWA and COSHH.

Our client operates to strict Drugs & Alcohol policies and therefore you will be subject to testing if successful.
