Team Coordinator in Birmingham, West Midlands, United Kingdom
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Coordinator to work with one of our large Rail clients in Birmingham working on a long-term contract basis.
The role is to provide administrative support to the relevant Area Programme Director and their team, ensuring smooth running of the administrative and support function.
ACCOUNTABILITIES: The Team Coordinator is responsible for:
i. supporting PA's and other administrative staff in all tasks;
ii. confirming and coordinating extensive travel arrangements;
iii. screening incoming calls and emails and action where appropriate;
iv. maintaining a filing system, retrieving documents and reference materials, conducting research, creating spreadsheets;
v. administration of timesheets / expenses;
vi. liaising with IT / facilities for project software and devices; and
vii. team stationery supplies.
REQUIRED CRITERIA:
i. strong, demonstrable track record in a PA/administrative role supporting senior leaders and large teams;
ii. demonstrable ability to provide specific evidence of dealing with difficult characters and changing requirements in a fast paced environment;
iii. excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of communicating at all levels in writing and orally;
iv. proven track record in the advanced use of all Microsoft office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook etc.;
v. exceptional organisational skills with proven ability to plan not only their own workload but also meetings, travel and accommodation for the director and team members
