About This Role:

Controller would be responsible for all aspects of the project's financial management. The controller's main duties include preparing financial statements and reports as ordered by project management. The reports might forecast the project's financial situation depend on project plan. Other work includes budgeting activities. A project controller would report to the project manager and project director.

Responsibilities:

Below is examples of core areas but not limit to the role.

• Actively support the project manager and project director with analyses of cost development, cause and effect.
• Lead the cost control work with production manager and time planner.
• Making recommendations for improvements in operations and simplification in cost control.
• Benchmarks actual cost against estimated/planed costs and the original tender budget, are we on the path or not.
• Analyse and present measures of importance and handling of risks.
• Together with the project manager prepare and submit necessary reporting to the client.
• Assist the project manager with planning and execution of project related activities.
• Support the project manager in negotiations with the client.
• Monitor the reported result and prepare reports internally further up in the organisation.
• Lead the work of estimation of forecast to completion related to key circumstances arising in the project over time.
• Set up processes for accounting and routines for invoicing the client.
• Basic knowledge of the contract with the client.
• Cash flow analyse in the project/projects.
• Comply with accounting principles.
• The controller will be a part of the project management group.
• Support the production in how to compile and keep track of verification's in claim situations and variations.
• Be a part of the tender team for future projects.
